1. Acceptance
Using this website means accepting these terms. Submitting a membership application means accepting them together with the Privacy Policy and the declaration signed within the form itself.
2. Membership is by invitation
The Directory is not open to public registration. An application can be made only by the holder of a personal invitation, which is valid for a limited period and may be used once. Invitations are not transferable; a link forwarded to somebody else does not entitle that person to apply.
Submitting an application creates no right to be admitted. Admission is decided by the review team, at its discretion, and the decision does not have to be reasoned.
3. Accuracy of what you submit
You are responsible for everything you submit being truthful, accurate and your own to give. That includes holding the rights to the photographs and documents you upload, and having the consent of any identifiable person appearing in them.
We may edit a profile for length, consistency and house style. We do not independently verify the professional claims in an application, which is why section 5 says what inclusion does and does not mean.
If information turns out to be materially false, we may decline the application, or remove a published profile, without notice.
4. Publication licence
By giving the publication consent in the application, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce and publish the professional information and photographs you supplied, in the digital Directory and in the printed editions, and to use them in materials promoting the Directory.
The licence exists only to run and promote the Directory. It carries no right to sub-license your material to third parties for their own purposes. You keep ownership throughout, and you may withdraw the publication consent at any time, with the effect described in the Privacy Policy.
5. What inclusion means, and what it does not
Inclusion in WHO is WHO records that a professional has been admitted to the network by our review team. It is not a governmental credential, a professional certification, an academic qualification, a licence to practise, or a guarantee of anybody's competence, solvency or conduct.
We give no undertaking that a profile will bring enquiries, clients, commercial results or any particular visibility in search engines. Members deal with one another directly and at their own risk; we are not party to what they agree between themselves.
6. Member conduct
The declaration signed in the application commits every member to ethics, professional integrity, collaboration and mutual respect. Contact details reached through the Directory are for professional purposes between members. Using them to send unsolicited commercial messages, to build a mailing list, or to harvest data in bulk is a breach of these terms and grounds for removal.
Automated extraction of the Directory — scraping, crawling for the purpose of copying, or any systematic downloading — is not permitted.
7. Suspension and removal
We may suspend or remove a profile, and revoke access to the members' area, where these terms are breached, where information proves materially false, where conduct damages the network, or where the member asks us to. Removal takes effect in our systems and in every subsequent edition. An edition already printed cannot be recalled.
8. Availability and liability
We work to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may suspend it for maintenance or for security.
To the extent Spanish law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of opportunity arising from use of this site or from inclusion in the Directory. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for wilful misconduct.
9. Changes
We may amend these terms. The revised version is published here with a new date. Where a change materially affects members, we will give notice by email before it takes effect.
10. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts of the operator's registered address, save where a mandatory rule provides otherwise. Questions about these terms: [PENDIENTE — facilitar].
