1. Why there is no cookie banner
Consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary — those used for analytics, advertising or tracking across sites. This website uses none of them. It carries no analytics, no advertising network, no social media pixels and no third-party trackers of any kind.
What remains is limited to storage that is strictly necessary to deliver the service, or that exists only because you asked for it. Under Article 22.2 of the LSSI and the guidance of the Spanish Data Protection Agency, that storage is exempt from the consent requirement. We therefore do not interrupt you with a banner. We do tell you exactly what is stored, which is the obligation that does apply.
2. What is stored on your device
- wsw-lang — remembers whether you chose the English or the Spanish edition, so you are not asked again on every visit. Stored in your browser's local storage. Set only when you make the choice.
- wsw-curtain — a momentary flag that lets the page transition finish correctly when you switch language. Stored in session storage and erased when you close the tab.
- Authentication session — set only for the staff area at /portal-admin, and only after a member of the team signs in. It keeps that person signed in and is strictly necessary. Visitors to the public site never receive it.
3. What is not stored
No cookie on this site identifies you personally, follows you to other websites, builds a profile of your interests, or is read by any advertiser or data broker. We do not measure audiences, we do not run A/B tests on visitors, and we share nothing with social networks.
4. Removing what is stored
Everything above can be cleared from your browser at any time, through its privacy or site data settings, without any effect on your ability to use the site. Clearing the language preference simply means you will be asked once more which edition you prefer.
